Join our brown bag lunch group as AKQA Creative Director John Jakubowski shares his view of Asian and Japanese influences in the advertising and gaming markets today. John will discuss 2007’s most prolific campaigns from AKQA, including the unforgettable launch of Halo 3. A distinguished leader in global marketing, AKQA was named one of the top 10 agencies by AdAge in 2008 and Digital Agency of the Decade by Revolution Magazine in the UK in 2007.

John Jakubowski, Creative Director at AKQA, is a globally recognized leader in creative production and strategy. With an Academy Award, Emmys, Cyber Lions, Grandys, Addys, Oneshows, and Clios, he has won every prestigious creative award available. His legacy client list includes Sony, Intel, Hewlett Packard, Wells Fargo, AOL, BMW, Clear Channel, and McDonalds, to name a few. John presently leads the global creative direction for XBox at AKQA San Francisco, handling over 50 projects a year and creating innovative solutions for the world’s largest brands.

Lunch is not provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own lunch. There are a few places nearby to buy a sandwich prior to the lecture or to eat lunch at afterwards.
