Going Green: Not to Wait; Not too late
Monday, April 20, 2009

Ichiro Fujisaki, Ambassador Extraordinary/Plenipotentiary of Japan to the U.S.

As the economic crisis goes global, Japan, like the U.S., has been hit particularly hard. In times of peril, however, there are opportunities for new partnerships, and the U.S. and Japan are forging unprecedented alliances. Japan’s prime minister was the first foreign leader to visit the new U.S. president in office, and the two nations are embarking on a joint effort to stem global and regional woes. Ambassador Fujisaki will detail what lies ahead for the Japan-U.S. relationship as the world enters a new and uncertain era.
