Japanese Language & Cultural Experience Workshop - Sushi

Series Two: Sushi Making

Tuesday, March 4, 2008

Join us for our first Japanese Language and Cultural Experience Workshop in 2008. This time we will learn how to make sushi!

Participants will learn the techniques for successful sushi making, including how to prepare the rice and form the perfect rolls. Not only will you learn how to make the food, you’ll learn Japanese tradition as well as knowledge of thousands of years of healthy living: the history of the dish, nutritious values, the reason for using certain ingredients, and proper Japanese table manners.

This hands-on class will last about 2 hours. Enjoy the sushi rolls of your labor with a complimentary cup of sake!
