Japan in Crisis

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Asia Society Northern California in cooperation with the Japan Society of Northern California is hosting a late-breaking discussion on Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami, the ongoing nuclear crisis, Japan’s political leadership, and implications for Asia and the US. The issues at hand are complex and fast moving and analysis and media coverage widely diverge. This program features prominent experts who will cut through the chaff and give us their assessment of what is really happening on the ground. The program will also highlight relief efforts and what the public can do to support them.
