RETAIL: Japanese Silk Table Runner

Created in Kyoto’s famous Nishijin district, this exquisite table runner would be a fabulous addition to anyone’s home. The weaving technique for this textile is the same one used for obi—the Japanese traditional belt for kimono—incorporating 100% silk threads intertwined with thin strips of gold paper. This method adds dimension to the traditional chrysanthemum flower motif.
