2008 Annual Fund Drive
Dear Friends,
If you’ve been keeping tabs on the Society, you already know that it’s been a fantastic year, with 54 programs and events presented to date (that’s an average of 4.5 programs per month!). Among many other things, we have brought you:- A diverse offering of free brown bag lunch lectures with talks on entrepreneurialism in Japan, the Japanese software industry and Asian influences in gaming and advertising
- Our inaugural Zadankai Series, covering a range of important topics-from green investing and cross-border M&A to the semiconductor industry and Japanese pop culture in America
- An impressive spread of cultural programs including a kimono show and a whole month dedicated to The Tale of Genji
- Our Award of Honor Gala with two pre-Gala panel discussions recognizing the importance of women in US-Japan business
And there’s more! But this is where you come in: Your gift to the 2008 Annual Fund will make the Society’s 2009 activities possible.
